10/3/2011, Thurs

Today will be a short and simple entry....I hope.

We signed up for the Great Ocean One Day Trip by Wildlife tour (heavily recommended by our Habitat HQ front desk personnel). We woke up super early at about 5.50am to prepare and send Ah Pek (our European grandfatherly roommate who snores quite loudly --> Gena misses this part) out. In Habitat HQ, if you are checking out, you have to gather your own bedsheets and bring it down to the reception. I have to remember to do this on the 15th.

The trip in general was quite okay. I wouldn't describe in detail about the itinerary since its about the same for the Great Ocean Road tour. Just look up one in a tour agency and you will know roughly what's it about.

One thing I love about travelling with this tour agency is the thought that goes into it to make the trip comfortable and enjoyable. There's a self-introuction at the beginning of the trip which I find it abit extra at first but I realised that the tour guides are really remembering the names and your other particulars such as occupation! I especially love the Minties given to us after we eaten our lunch as that is an awfully nice gesture to help clear our stinky breath after a meal. And the Minties taste great I am telling ya.

I also like the part where we stopover at an area with koalas and parrots. Although the parrots left rape-like scratches on my arms, feeding them is awfully fun! They are pretty heavy though. My hands weighed down a little when the first parrot landed on it but I slowly come to expect that and so I will get prepare for it whenever I know a parrot was going to land. I can barely handle it when there are two or more parrots landing at the same time though. AND I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT WHEN THEY LANDED ON MY HEAD. Its heavy enough without fat birds on it, thank you.

Dinner is at Red Rooster - a fast food restaurant with fried chicken just like KFC. I wasn't really hungry at that moment so Elene (did I spell it correctly? heck care la~) and I just grab something really light. Elene is from Paris and she's on the same Great Ocean tour as us. She's here on a working holiday and now she's starting to travel around and see some sights. I find that pretty fabulous.

Side Note: Gena is right - I gotta find a job, save up some cash, and then go on a long trip. A trip, not a tour. I enjoy myself much more when when I'm getting lost, wandering around figuring what to do next. Probably backpacking around several continents. I might be lazy but that isn't big threat to my survival as I seldom panic and is willing to ask for help when needed. Key word being "needed". In fact I like "getting lost" as most of the time it often brings you to places unexpected. A pleasant surprise. Challenges are always welcome.
Now that I finally have a direction in life (yes I previously do not have any), the next step will be to...find a job. Haiz...it always come back to this. Why must the first step always be the toughest????????!!!!!!!!!!

Holla from Melbourne Part II

9/3/2011, Wednesday
Pretty eventful day. I refused to leave my bed until Gena shake me up (I think she's been wanting to do that since Day 1. She is totally smiling when I opened my eyes). I was actually awake by then but I simply refused to get out of bed.

After that we went to do our laundry. Freaking exp! It cost us a total of AUD6 including washing powder. Lucky we are sharing though so it turns out to be aint that bad. I think the price is actually considered to be cheap as the machine is huge. Its just that we don't have that much to wash in the first place. If I am gonna stay here again, I'll be sure to stay longer so that I can bring more clothes to wash.

After laundry, we went to the Cabbie's pizza and pasta restaurant across Habitat HQ for lunch. Pizza is nice and according to Gena - so is her lasagna. My pizza is AUD10 including a drink which I didn't know is included in my meal.

We went to Melbourne Aquarium. This place is pretty easy to find. Its just around the corner from Flinders Station. I actually find it pretty interesting. Quite worth the money in fact. We paid about AUD30 each after 10% discount. My favorite exhibit there is the Axolotl. Freaking cute!!!!

I want it as pet! He can join Mocha, Latte and their 6 children as part of my ever-growing safari.

The sharks exhibit is pretty disappointing but I guess that is partly due to the fact that the divers show is canceled due to renovations. I enjoyed it thoroughly nonetheless.

Gena picked up a brochure about a camera museum so we decided to head over. Turns out that Michael's is a shop selling cameras and accessories and only part of the 2nd level is where the "museum" is. Despite all that I still enjoyed the place. I even found some photographs that I liked. I like the effect of Pop Art and Dramatic Tone filters whereas Gena prefers Dramatic Tone and Grainy filters.

I love to have a good camera someday to capture my precious moments abroad and even back home. It does not have to be a DSLR like Gena's D90. I probably can't afford that even if I slave for 2 years. I just need something that is non-touch screen (it take forever to get the right focus), focus that is adjustable, high optical zoom....AND CHEAP! If you guys can ever find that I will be eternally grateful. Cause it seems like no such thing will ever happen in my lifetime unless I custom make it WITH MY OWN HANDS.

Dinner is at a Vietnam restaurant due to my sudden Vietnam food craving. I saw many Vietnam restaurants along a certain stretch in Lonsdale (or was it Elizabeth) St and got real tempted. Gena's beef noodle was delicious! My chicken noodle soup however just tasted like Chinese Guo Tiao Tang. Not that it wasn't delicious. Quite the contrary in fact. I am just not happy with the fact that I keep buying cuisine that taste like Chinese food but were labelled otherwise.

At the end of the day, we head back to our hotel (we were early today, about 7 plus?) and start surfing the net. Its an awesome way to end the day and help us get into sleep mode.

Hola from Melbourne

Its been like what...3 days since I stepped on the land of Melbourne. And so far I am still loving it!

5/3/2011, Sat

MK Teng (Gena's & Jayvern's friend), Jayvern and Sendya sent Gena and I to the Changi Airport. Jayvern is the one driving and its pretty evident its has been a long day for her. Later I learnt that she's bee driving the entire day, I feel so guilty!!!

Sendya give us a treat at Popeye (my choice. I'd been craving for it since the day before) to celebrate her new job among other stuff that I can't quite remember....I love free stuff!

Me and Gena love the Emirates plane since the air stewards (its only one of them IMO) are hunky! Eye candy for the long flight!

6/3/2011, Sun

30 minutes before we landed, the pilot told us that the temperature in Melbourne is ONLY TEN DEGREE CELSIUS!!!!! WTF, me and Gena is certainly not prepared with all the summer clothes in our luggage. Later we found out that its was actually quite sunny with rather chilly winds and the cold temperature only happens in the early morning (we landed about 8.45am). We tend to avoid the early morning after that but that's because we can't bear to part with out super comfy beds.

We stepped into our home-to-be for the next week plus a few more days - Habitat HQ. Check in isn't till 2pm though so we went and get ourself lost in the streets of St Kilda. What I love most about Melbourne is that the architectures in the area is a mixture of modern and gothic buildings. Its a real awesome and refreshing mix I tell you.

Anyway we met Geoffrey (is that how its is spelled?), Andrea and Jason at the park. Geoffrey appear us with a random question about whether the grass is greener on the other side. I have no idea what Gena was really thinking by that time but I was like "Wow, totally random. I better run".

After a game of catch and some chit-chatting, they turned out to be awesome people. We suspected that Geoffrey is on drugs though - he is too hyper to be normal. Geoffrey left us his email and phone number which we hadn't really been utilizing till this date. We might utilize them though. Soon.

The day ended with a dinner comprising of cheap subway meal (foot long for AUD7) which we shared between the both of us and a "laptop convention" which we discuss about what we gonna do for the next day.

7/3/2011, Mon

After a lunch at a suspiciously Chinese Thai restaurant, Gena and I head to RMIT to enquire more about Gena's potential future course. The consultant wasn't really that helpful and Gena got to speak to the head of the program in the end, which was a blessing in disguise. We layed on the grass patch in the campus for more than an hour (???). This is a new habit that both of us picked out. You can see people sitting or laying down on grass patches in Mebourne anywhere. It feels fantastic to do so! Now we make it a "at least once a day" thing.

We walked over to Yarra River which is like Singapore River but wider and about 5 times longer, camwhore on the floating platform and then head off to a mall akin "The Central @ Clarke Quay) for dinner at food court. Both of us got a 1/4 pizza with salad for AUD9.50. The portion is fucking huge!! We wasted food =( but I finally got my GG mobile sim! =)

8/3/2011, Tues

Collected Loreal Fashion Fullstop tickets from TicketMaster at a theatre whose name I forgot. Excited! Lunch at a cafe in Federation Square (I think the name of the cafe is called Gig if I rmb correctly). Gena's treat cause she feel pity for the penniless moi. Our coffees are awesome even though I don't like the coffee art (I feel that it could be better) and also the coffee taste could be stronger.

After that we head down to Abbotsford Convent - the freaking boring place. Stupid me didn't realised that our tickets could be used for both trams and buses so I went to purchase another. KNS no money still wasting money. The areas around Abbotsford Convent is pretty interesting though. Kinda like a mini-zoo with sheeps, goats, peacocks, horses. My favorite is the donkey. I love the cute face! The Yarra river at the site is freaking polluted though.

We walked along the mountainous trail. I love walking when I am either in sneakers or Gena's flats. Heels and platforms aren't really for me but I made a promise to learn walking in taller heels. Starting from...erm, let's talk about it when the time comes. Thus I stole Gena's sandals and she has to suffer in her platforms. I am such a "nice" person sometimes =)

We came back early cause we might be doing laundry tomorrow thus we took a early shower and immerse ourselves in the cyberworld...

Goodbye world!

Tonight I will be boarding on a flight to Melbourne, Australia!

So I will not be updating unless the internet there is super fast and I got nothing much better to do...

My hammies will be under the care of my brothers. Hope they survive.

I wanna see the 6 babies and 2 adults when I'm back okay!!!!!!

Till then, ciao~
Look how big they have grown!!!!!!!!

Today my brother told me there's only 6 left....looks like it =-(

Wasn't really home the entire time yesterday but when I come home I start disturbing the baby hamsters. Guess what I saw?

The baby hamster know how to crawl already!!!! Its only days ago when they are just rolling all over the place!

I am one proud Grandmama~

Monday, February 28, 2011

Today I found Latte a bit too smelly (hamster breast milk must stink!!!) that I put her through the hamster bath.

I loved it when she turns around to look at me! Cute max!

Latte looked so cute when she "dances"! And if you look carefully she is still hiding some food in her left cheek pouch, that was probably the reason for her urgency to get out.

Mocha got his chance to go into the bath later on. Though he smell relatively okay compared to Latte.

-------------------------------------------------------------
11.50pm

I lost two baby hammies....hopefully they will turn up tomorrow. I know its normal but still I don't really like the thought of a barbaric Latte...

12.50pm

Today new mother Latte seems tired of her motherly duties. Already!

She keeps wanting to be let out of the cage and once out, she absolutely REFUSED to go back. This had never happened even when she was a young hamster child of 2 months old. Seems like being a mother is not as easy and fun as it seems.

Anyhow I am so scared that the hamster babies will die and I become one of the accomplice of the crime of starving them to death then I had to force poor Latte to go back into her cage. Literally stuff her back in and locking the door of the cage secure.

Sorry Latte, one life versus 10 young ones. I have to go for the latter. Your sliming program via the hamster ball can wait.

Saturday, February 26, 2011

10.52pm

Just gave Latte some dates to gain back some of the energy she lost during the delivery. Dates are good for replenishing bloods for women right? Not sure if the same is true for hamster but I checked online that dates are not poisonous for hamsters, so either way it can't hurt her.

I removed the seed though since its advisable to do so. I am getting to be such expert on hamsters with this frequent visiting of hamster care related sites.

--------------------------------------------------------------

11.00pm

Just drop by the cage and saw that Latte has a huuuuuuuuggge collection of stored food! Ok, it should be enough to brave her through till the afternoon. Since I am unable to change the bedding for at least a week, I have to monitor closely so that she doesn't store that many food until it attracts ants as babysitters.

Well at least this should bring some spice into my boring life.
The wonders of nature...

Latte was just a newborn about 4 months ago and now, 4 months later she is breeding her own. And there's absolutely no need for lessons on nuturing the young. She seems like she is born to know what to do and what not to do when dealing with her young.

Mother instinct is great, isn't it?

Latte's Childcare Diary 1

Damn...time flies. This morning I am still a "young" 24 year old woman and a few hours later I am a wrinkly grandmama.

As the chinese proverb goes - Time spares noone. And Mr Time certainly have no mercy for the poor me.

I didn't even see what she did during the delivery. I am only not looking for 2 hours and this happens. If only humans are this efficient....

All my family members are delighted at the birth of the 9 young ones (I think should be 9. My brother is the one who did the counting), except for a certain individual who possess a deep hatred against animals.

Haiz...I have to look for owners soon after my trip. My mum said so many pets will stink her place up and since it IS HER PLACE afterall, I have no choice but to oblige.

If you know anyone who is interested in adopting please lemme know yeah?

Okay...gross picture alert. To me its cute, but to my mum its super disgusting so I have to spare a thought for those with the same mindset.

Please finish whatever you are eating before viewing. And also...not for those with weak heart.

Okay here goes......

Latte Pregnancy Diary 2

I read somewhere that hamsters like to use tissue paper to create beddings for babies after they are born, so I gave Latte one piece. She seems to be playing with it instead of shredding it to create beddings!

Well, whatever. As long as she didn't eat it...I hope.

I will closely monitor her eating behavior from now.

Sigh...

Latte Pregnancy Diary 1

I'll probably be monitoring Latte's pregancy using this blog from now on.

Sick of flooding twitter everytime I got something to say. What's more have to follow the 140 characters limit. Go eat shit.

I might as well just flood my own blog. Its free anyway and I wouldn't have to worry about flooding - It's MY BLOG for goodness sake.

Hopefully she will deliver before my Australia trip. I wanna be there when it happens.

Anyway she is currently agressive (can't put your hands close. She will jump on it, hogging food and kinda making a nest. Why I said kinda is well...she's more of making a boundary - a long straight strip where she will place her food and whatever she seems fit.

Very active too. Mocha's sleeping all day long (is he pregnant too? Lolx..jkjk) and she hasn't really been sleeping much. Very jumpy - all I gotta do is bend over the cage, count to 3 and she will wake up with a jerk (not literally as in the word for scolding males. I will like to see that happen though).

Been wanting to get out too. Probably the cage she's been sleeping for about 4 months is suddenly not to her liking? Whatever, that's one thing I am not going to give in. She already have the bigger cage, so that's that.

I am curious as to how many babies she will deliver. She is enormous! Lots of hamsters owners online said that they didn't even realise that their hamsters were pregnant. Well, let's see you try to ignore this one! It's like, BAM! Right in your eye! I can't even fool myself anymore and have to admit that Miss G is right - she's really pregnant. DAMN!

Power Shopper

Shopping is not really my kinda thang. Those who know me well enough knows that its relatively hard to get me out of the house. You literally have to drag, seduce and force me to agree. Unless I am in the mood. That's the reason why I am late most of the time - still bonding with my desktop computer.

My Mum decided to drag me for to buy a new pair of shoes for CNY. I had bought nothing this year - no tops, no bottoms, no underwears...nada for CNY. I have told her that I wanna try heels this year (an inspiration I got from a anime with a short female lead. It makes me realised that I am short too...), that's why I put up no resistance when she drag me along to Hougang. I forgot exactly what the place is called, the whole thing is like right next to the Hougang Police Station.

Kawaiiiii~~~~ rite? Erh...not really....

I went into the first shop I see, saw the shoes, fell in love. Then I let my Mum bargain with her over 90 cents and got out with my trophy. Frankly my Mum and I was shocked at the speedy purchase. I usually take quite long to find what I want, but once I found it the rest is in fast-forward mode. If not for the shoes, I wouldn't tolerate the shop auntie who talks and behave just like my bitchy cousin. My face turned black for a minute there but I still held tight to the shoes, not wanting to let go.

Shows how much I want those shoes yeah?

Too bad they run out of black for my size (size 7, according to the shoes). It will be so much low-maintenance compared to this pair of white platforms.

Saddest day ever - I LOST MY WALLET.

Inside is a bunch of important cards and most importantly my IC.

WTF replacement of IC needs SGD100. Since when is it so exp? It used to be just SGD50 a couple of years ago? Inflation also affect your plastic?

To the lousy thief that took my wallet - I am praying hard that your entire bank account kena hacked and all your money transferred to mine. Bwahahah~ Need to cover my loss somehow...

Fuck! 2011 is turning out to be a lousy year. Rabbit years also sucked for me. The worst thing always happened in Rabbit years =(

Not to be superstitious but I really need someone/something to blame to prevent my emotions from spiraling downwards more. At least its inevitable will make me feel so much better. I think.

My parents are not going hear a word about this. Last time when I NEARLY lost my wallet, they already holler at me even before I managed to finish the story. This time...no mood to hear them holler.

Then again, stress and negative emotions really help me to perform today in the gym! I wonder if the same goes for strong positive emotions?

The Hamster Nanny - Escape Artiste, Latte

Now I am breathing a sigh of relief.

To cut a long story short, Latte (the female white hamster, breed unknown. Can't tell between Roborovski and Syrian hamsters. Should be Syrian judging from its sharp face) jailbroke while I was hanging out with Mama and Daddy yesterday. Mum found it when she opened the storeroom door just now.

Till date, how it escaped is still a mystery since the cage is still firm and secure when I got back and found Latte to be nowhere in sight.

I am so glad it didn't jumped out from the window as what my Dad said.

So ironic that the only person scared of it is the one who gets to find it though.

Mama said that if she opened the door wider, Latte will be crushed to death. Or at least end up with broken bones all over. Coincidentally the night before I was so worried about Latte that all my dreams end up to be about her, and the one that I remember the most vividly is that I found her behind my parents' bedroom door, crushed to death!

Anyhow I am gonna take extra precaution to make sure the cage is secure. Most probably I will get a new cage after all the scare.

I feel like I lost a few years off my already short life. I am gonna die at 76 remember? Only 53 years to go! Oh....that seem like a long time...

Welcome to the Family - Mocha & Latte

Welcome to the Tan family! 1 month old baby Syrian hamsters Mocha & Latte!

Frankly giving you names give me headache and I am pondering whether to leave you guys nameless like the previous hamster. The previous one is just called "Ham Ham" for convenient sake. The major factor that prevents me from naming you guys/gals - I have no idea what your genders are! Even the all so mighty Mr Internet is left speechless this time round.

Then Mr Internet decided to throw me one piece of internet that I didn't really ask for, but got me real interested. I can conditioned you guys to react to me! You have no idea how tempting this is considering how you guys didn't exactly warmed up to me (is it my face? blame my mama...).

Therefore the unisex names - Mocha and Latte are born! That, and the fact that I luv Starbucks!

So once again welcome to the family and I will try my best to remember your birthday - 25 November 2010. Haven't really decided yet whether to do an yearly or monthly celebration but leaning more towards monthly or quarterly considering your short life spans. Let you know when the time comes.

Ta-da~

US Trip (6st day, 24th nov 2010)

Woke up by the sound of Hailey' alarm. She must be tired too since she took quite a long time to reach it and turn the alarm off.

Dammit...just as I was getting a good night's sleep.

We went for another field trip today - to Witchita mountains. Awesome place with many endangered animals in the refuge, e.g. Buffalos, Elps, prairie dogs etc.

Prairie dogs are the cutest thing ever! And doesn't look anything like a dog.

Don't believe me? Just see the pic below:

Its like a safari tour today.

Might be going to gym today if there's mood and time. Cya tmr~

US Trip (4th & 5th day,22th & 23th nov 2010)

22th is a full day of school. Super boring! The teacher is a nice old lady who likes to mumble to herself. Drained my energy just trying to listen to her talk.

23th however is an outdoor field trip day! Not very happening but at least we get to go outta the classroom and wander around instead of listening to her talk...and talk...and talk. We went to this urban praire which has a creek where another professor (fat with long curly white hair) explained to us how they determine if the water is healthy. Seems that there's such way of just looking at it and you will know for sure. You will have to examine and take the water samples back to the lab for testing.

So science right? I know.

I have no idea why I am taking this class. Unless I want to be a weather reporter with really atas scientific knowledge.

Not really that interested frankly.

After that we went to lunch at this Louie's Sports Grill place. Not sure how good is their grilled food, but the pizza is good! Beats Pizza's Hut anyday. And please go bankrupt soon, California's 2-for-1 pizza. No idea how you can survive this long with pizza that tastes like flour, cheese and tomato paste. Separately.

After lunch, we went back to the school for a presentation by OERB (Oklahoma Energy Reservation Board I think...), and after that to a lab where they tested various water, oil or other samples.

Went to Dollar Tree when class ends (at 4.30pm...YEAH!!!), but we didn't bought much. Even Jayvern agrees that it gets boring the second time. Seriously its fun, but only when you have things to buy and is in a shopping mood. And even then I don't get as high as Jayvern when she sees cheap sweets.

Photos up asap. Stay tuned...

US Trip (3nd day,21th nov 2010)

Went for orientation. Expected it to be the super childish kind with lotsa ice breakers but fortunately its just Virginia Oden sharing lotsa much needed information (and warnings) with us.

Went for a tour in the 'school bus' and visited the Oklahoma bombing memorial park and museum. Nothing much there. Got bored after just a few minutes.

Then the bus drove us to the Golden Corral for lunch. In the midst we past by the liquor warehouse 2 times and Jayvern and Sendya got real excited. Ironically the only alcohol in the house is Mojito.

Golden Corral (yup, 2 'r's) is fantastic. Akin to Mache but so much better! Unlimited refill. Buffet style! What's more, its like a standard price for everything. With so much good stuff to eat, I am starting to worry about my parents' reaction to my new body size when I dropped down at Changi Airport 3 weeks later.

Sendya arranged 3 gummy bears together (in Jayvern's unwanted bow of ice cream) to form a 'threesome'. Jayvern stubbornly refused to tell Sendya how to spell 'threesome'.

After that I was so shagged when I got back home, I slept at 7 p.m.!

SHIT SHIT SHIT~

US Trip (2nd day,20th nov 2010)

Was supposed to be fetching Gena from the airport today. Arranged with Shirley (is it spelled this way?) and Jocelyn (same previous comment applies) to go to Walmart. Instead we head to Dollar Tree where every single item is EXACTLY USD1!!!!

Try beating that Value Dollar shop. Your item varies from $1.05 to $12.05 (I think...higher or lower depending on items on sale for the period) lor. No consistency at all. QC failed big time.

After fetching Gena, we went back to our hotel and sleep after a expensive and not really that tasty lunch. Lunching at restaurants (other than the fast food kind) is so not worth it.

We head to Walmart for some heavy grocery shopping. The shopping power of women can never be underestimated. We shopped for a total of about 3 plus hours. Some minor melodrama happened when we lost Jayvern and Hailey missing. Erm....like literally. For a moment there Ic contemplate the use of intercom. But "Can Jayvern and Hailey reports to the customer service counter please? Your friends are waiting for you. I repeat.." sounds...erm...cheeky? Therefore we decide to save both them and us embarrassment lest we get mistaken for country pumpkin.

Luckily we found them in the end. Stay energetic for quite sometime after that. Managed to only fall into deep slumber at around 2a.m.

*Photos up asap. Stay tuned...*

US Trip (1st day, 19th nov 2010)

Using the in flight moving map application. I see that I am in the air above Philippines. Already I wanna get down. Can't find the toliet initially. Such a noob. Can feel the other passengers laughing at me. I like the turbulence, the setting off and touching down (◦'⌣'◦)
- Touched down at narita and to our surprise, our flight is delayed for abt 2 hour! (From 3.15pm tkt to 4.50 tkt) Luckily it turned to be a scare, still delay though. To 3.50pm tyt. Now its 3.14pm. Still waiting....
- Saw snow at Minneapolis airport! White blanket covering entire Minneapolis! Awesome!
- 2nd flight delay of the day from Minneapolis to Oklahoma City for abt 45 mins! What luck!
- Small and cramped Delta Connection has a wide array of soft drinks. Still prefer the comparatively spacious (but still tight aisles) to this domestic flight. Pretzels are yucky but I finished 2 packets of those biscuits. The ONLY flight attendent (compare that to abt 6-12 attendents on an international flight) is a fat male with an attractive voice. Lol!
- Touched down at Will Rogers airport. Waiting for our luggage when the coveyor belt stops suddenly. Turns out some idiot kicked the emergency stop button. But we got our luggages in the end. Met 2 nice part-time 'schoolmates/modulemates' (.....watever....). Nice persons. Bonded with them over a salty macdonald meal. Its dirt cheap btw. Hate the strong winds and blazing cold though.

*Photos up asap. Stay tuned...*

Beyond Expectation (The Competitor in Me)

This is the email sent to me by my values and culture lecturer:

Dear Megan Tan Wei Shan-

Your grade on Essay #2 is "A-".

Sincerely,
 --Leo Werneke

This might not be a great grade for most, but I am already exceptionally grateful. Especially considering the fact that I missed most of Leo's classes and never return after the break until the lessons are over.

I so afraid he will flunk me cause I am 100% sure he knew about my absence.

Even got caught red-handed a few times.

To show my gratitude, I am gonna work real hard on the post assignment!!!

Yah....like real.

I had already finished the post assignment and it was sloppily done. And it will take a giant buffalo to make me redo it again.

But....

I promise to add in if I think of anything Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡.̮Ơ̴̴͡

Packing (12 Days to OKC)

Luggage packing is a tiring job. I didn't even get much today!

But thank goodness I made a checklist of the stuff I would put in my luggage, handcarry and what I would wear respectively! How's that for orderly?

I thought I misplaced my US dollars yesterday. Nearly broke into tears. I probably won't had found it if not for my determination of 'not gonna sleep tonight if I don't find my usd".

Sometimes you just need pure determination and a stroke of luck. Memory is important too but then its not always reliable.

Nothing beats the real thing

After staring for several hours at my computer (doing my v&c essay. Extremely slow progress, dammit!), the view out my window seem to have more vibrant colors than usual. HD LCD monitors can't beat this even if they tried...

Testing Post - Nails

I don't think I'm apt for growing nails. Since I start growing them about 3 weeks ago, I had been scratching my neck with them. Either I should just learn to not flick my hair (always scratched my neck with my nails when I brush my hair away from my face) or I should just cut my nails.

Its so freaking weird...

I woke up by the sound of alarms.....coming from my parents' bedroom, which is 2 rooms away!

Must be sleeping really lightly by then.

Of course the 3 alarms sounding at the same time help a little somehow.

The reasons for the alarms are that I am heading to my 2nd Aunt's bdae party in Johor. Dunno if I will do another post about it with pictures cause I doubt I will take any. Since I am not a photo person and all...THAT plus the fact that I will only bring my bb8520, which comes equipped with a ok quality 2mp camera. Okay quality for a 2mp but not really wonderful for taking pictures.

We'll see how.

And of course, my new Touchy will be coming as well. Helps to drive boredom. I am so prepared with the frantic downloading of apps yesterday.

Oh, mum's calling.

Tada, off to showers.

Virgin Touch

I got my new Ipod Touch! Anyone wanna congratulate me? Or at least reprimand me for wasting money unnecessarily?

Saturday, October 9, 2010

Finished my AOW exam today. Don't think I did too fantastic cause nothing went into this dumbass of a head even after studying for so long. Think I'm getting old....

No more school after this.

Anyway I checked whether my salary was banked in today and I got more than I deserved! Mandy I LOVE U!!! I didn't work so much but I got more pay? Haha...don't mind if I keep coming back for more~

Only like about a month to the day when I am supposed to depart for the states. Its coming too fast yet not fast enough. One moment I was dreading to go to a foreign country to chiong studies, another (moment) I am like hoping it will come faster so that I can have no exams no more. Super weird mindset but its okay, don't mind me.

Preparation for departure is like only 45% done! OMG! WHAT ELSE DO I NEED??!!!! PANIC ATTACK!!!!

Visa Approved!!

Yeah! Visa was approved yesterday!

Another thing out of the way! Woohoo~

The previous batch went to the American Embassy on Tuesday and they said it was a long and tedious process. The horror stories really creep us out and that's why yesterday (Friday), many of us are rather fidgety and scared of what's going to happen.

Aside from the main entrance which we are to pass the cumbersome security checks (liquids are allowed but I have to take a sip to prove that it wasn't liquid bomb (-_-III)), the rest are pretty smooth sailing. I love counter 5 where we have to be 'interviewed' by a pretty American woman. She is so pretty and friendly! I don't mind getting interviewed but her over and over again but then she have to talk louder. I have to tip toe over the counter to hear her!

Anyway the pretty American woman told me my visa is approved and I am now holding a pink slip to collect my visa and passport (they took it =_( ) next Tuesday.

Can't wait!

What should I do??!!!

Times passes so fast. At the blink of an eye, its already Sept.

SEPT??!!!

My god, that means I have less than 2 months to prepare for my trip to oklahoma, usa at the end of the year!

I am super clueless on what should I do now. Ever since I bought the luggage last month, i had been staring at it (and I think its staring me back as well. What a defiant luggage) wondering what should I put inside 1st.

Till date, the inside is still clean and shiny. And empty.

I can't pack the clothes cause I will still need to wear those. I have no thermal wears and thermal wears are super exp in Singapore. No turtleneck sweaters as well as I am quite reluctant to purchase those as I dun like the feeling of something struggling me.

Aside from clothings, can I put other utilities inside...erm...I scared it kena squashed by the clothings leh. That's y I wanna put those hygiene or watever products on the top.

Arghh!!!! Frustrated!!!!

An Ordinary Day

Me: Mum did you touched my phone just now?

Mum: Yeah...it was ringing so I pressed until the sound stops.

Me: (mumbling) No wonder it was shut down...

Mum: I press until the ringing stops lo. And it did!

Me: (exclaimed): Shut down le of course it stops la!

Sometimes my mum is just too cute.

I love emoticons but so far all I know is "T-T" and "=)".

Super bland.

Good thing I found this on the web. It gives a vast glossary of text emoticons to give your sentences more "feelings".

And some are really interesting! For example, guess what this is:
()()
=(-,-)=
(")_(")

It's a rabbit? Damn cute rite?

Super Bo Liao...

Guess I am really bored to the max! I am reading up stuff about Chinese Horoscopes.

Well...at least its with the elements so it should be something different. At least not everyone knows about chinese horoscopes with elements.....right?

Mine is Fire Rabbit.

FIRE RABBIT Horoscope
Feb 2, 1927 to Jan 22, 1928
Jan 29, 1987 to Feb 16, 1988

Rabbit people love to play under the moonlight. Quite fanciful, they respond to the power and beauty of nature and are always being pulled one way and the other to examine what they find. They are the luckiest of all twelve signs! But, it's more a result of "the harder I work, the luckier I get" than taking crazy chances. They are cautious, conservative, bright, and have a good head for business. Supremely pleasant to have around, these affectionate, naturally shy peacemakers seldom ever lose their temper. They sometimes appear to be singing the blues because of a natural but short-lived tendency towards despondency. Rabbits always inspire deep admiration and trust.

Ginger Soup and Ginger Noodles are among the keys to good health!!

The Fire Rabbits stand out from the crowd of other Rabbits. You might expect Rabbits to be passive, quiet, and loners. Not so, the Fire Rabbits. These extroverts are leaders of the pack! Fire Rabbits intuitively sense the right way to bring out the best in themselves and other people. They are brave creatures, thirsty for life. Others eagerly follow them because of the promise of adventure and great fun, and they are never disappointed. Visionary explorers, Fire Rabbits inspire others to see beyond the surface. Unlike other Rabbits, Fire Rabbits have the potential to be truly rich. Enormously capable and hardworking, Fire Rabbits can achieve great things others cannot match. Captains in charge of their lives, they experience smooth sailing in their careers. The multifaceted Fire Rabbits experience great versatility in their lives. Their interests can range from Agatha Christie to bungee jumping, from caviar to enchiladas, from snowskiing to Scrabble. Speaking of Scrabble, spell Love: L-O-V-E is very kind to Fire Rabbits. Excellent lovers, they rapturously charm their partners with cozy fireplaces, affectionate hugs, and, most of all, undying support and loyalty.

Famous RABBIT people: Hu Shih, Hu Yao-Bang, Kim Young Sam, Sally Ride, Leonardo Di Caprio, Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Arturo Toscanini, Leontyne Price, Clare Boothe Luce, Tiger Woods.

Don't really like the last person mentioned, but I guess I will forgive and forget. Besides, he is the only name I recognised besides Leonardo Di Carpio.

Online game frenzy today.

Love this game.

Haha..I lost. Aim is to get 100 cups of noodles cooked without consumers flaring up. I missed it by only 8 more cup noodles to go. Boo hoo~

It is initially developed by Nissan Japan to promote their products. Super fun lor~

I know SG also develop games for marketing purposes ( recently I just played one developed by NYP regarding NDP 2010), but none is really THAT interesting.

Finally win! Woohoo~

Kind Soul

Was looking through the comments on the Yahoo! News page regarding the statement issued by MM Lee regarding the recent floods all over Singapore. Most of the commenters are dissatisfied with MM Lee's failure to address the problem and admit the mistake, in addition to shifting the blame on Singaporeans again.

But this...really make it on the top on my list.

So kind. Still show concern for the rest of the Singaporeans cause he scared other people kena dragged into the matter. I can imagine the end 'OK?' is spoken with a cute pleading tone.

You go, Local!

Lenovo S10-3

Been having Lenovo S10-3 for quite sometime now and can't really bring myself to truthfully say this is my new "Digital Pet". My Dell Studio One 19 currently still holds that spot. For a number of reasons.

For those who have no idea what a S10-3 is. Well..its a netbook. Look at the picture below to get the ball rolling.
Everyone who seen it so far likes the criss cross mosaic pattern of the cover. I do too and still love it now. In fact that's what make me purchased it in the first place.

What a big mistake. A SGD578 dollars mistake.

Okay first thing first, let's start with the thing that's REALLY BOTHERING ME - ITS FREAKINGLY AGONIZINGLY HAIR-TEARINGLY SLOW!!!!!

If i know it will be this bad. I should had just get a laptop. Don't mind the size.

The netbook seems light enough to my friends but I had weighed a number of netbooks on my hand before. And trust me, my hands had felt lightest. I did weighed the S10-3 before the purchase though. But that was without batteries. Once again, I had fallen into prey of the infamous 'battery trap' again. Just like what I did with my Dell laptop (now in the hands of the evil twins). When will I ever learn????

Something fascinating is the QS (Quick Start) button. Main purpose of the thing is for quick access/bootup for web surfing purposes. Tried it but since it doesn't startup my Mobile BroadBand program, I'd never really see the whole thing go through. Once day I might bring it out someday but that will be quite a painful chore as till date, I had seen no netbook bag to my fancy.

The touchpad.......Arh....one big joke. Nobody in the world, judging for personal experience and online readers and editors reviews, would use this thing in his or her right mind unless he or she is desperate without a mouse at hand. Nuff said.

Well the rest is still minor issues, its the speed (or lack of) that is really killing my impatient soul. Regardless its the only thing I have and is able to bring to the states so I guess I have to really make do. Let's pray pray pray HARD that it will get SO MUCH better. PLEASE~~~

PPS Fever - Alvin and The Chipmunks

PPS fever continues today. Today its Corpse Bride and Alvin and The Chipmunks.

I watched Corpse Bride years ago in the theaters....I think. If not I can't explain the familiarity of the movie. Its alright, just a little disgusting to watch when having a meal. Especially the ugly maggot.

Alvin and the Chipmunks however is something totally new to me. I remember years ago I used to scoff at people who paid money to watch it in the theaters. Boy was I wrong. Once I started, I can't stop! Theodore is the cutest. Still puzzled why Alvin is the "main chipmunk lead" though. He did nothing really special in the movie. Must be a personal favorite of the script writer.

Dave last job is in an advertising firm! So related to what I just studied!

I discovered this always happens. Things related to my studies usually appears after the entire thing (course and exams) is over. Seldom do things appear in between studies. Not to say they don't though. They do, just SELDOM.

Twisted !

Was playing the game [Natalie Brooks: Mystery at Hillcrest High] when I saw this....So messed up.

They got the astrology part right. Well...at least the Sagittarius. That's all I knew anyway. Haha~

But they really need to get their facts right on the Chinese horoscopes. I born in 1987 but I don't think I'm a Cat. In fact I know for sure that I'm a Rabbit! I am Chinese and I know these things.

Seriously~ Can't they just go a Google search or something? Surely that wouldn't take much of their game developing time! Moreover it will reflect better on the company. Now its just a joke!

What I Do During Break - June 2010

PPS is a good thing! Been watching so many wonderful stuff on it the past two weeks. So great I decided to rekindle my interest for PPS. Haha~

Fav anime at the mo is “天才宝宝” aka Aka-Chan To Boku and How to train your dragon 3d.
Speaking of "How To Train Your Dragon 3D", really regret no watching in its wonderful true Imax form while its in the theaters. The 3D effects looks damn cool~ Esp the beg where the waves looks like it will splash into your face and the end where Toothless was flying through the rocks.

This time I am going to watch Despicable Me no matter what. If nobody's watching with me I will drag my family along. Bwahahaha~

Friendship Trauma

I guessed I am not good in making and maintaining friendships. To be frank, I always felt that its a miracle I have ANY friends at all. I am not a good friend and I always knew that. I do not give people presents mostly because I am brought up in a family whose tradition is doesn't include celebrating birthdays. Looking back, my primary school and secondary school do not celebrate birthdays as often as they do now.

Even so..... I am all the more grateful for all the friends that stayed with me till now. Eva, Shereen, Vanessa, LD....I know it wasn't easy. I am not the automatic sort. Neither am I the super fun and exciting type.

But then I do not think I deserve this. If you don't want to be friends. Just tell me so. We both know the relationship is strained. And its making me bad tempered cause its just so damn irritating to see us pretend.

Many a times I wanted to just tell you straight so that we can get it over and done with. But deep inside, I keep hoping that it will blow over and everything will be alright again.

I dunno if that day will ever comes. But right now, I don't how much more I can take.

So I am begging you....please end it?

Did I Do Wrong? Don't Think So~

Seriously. U never treat me right and now you expect me to be responsible for ur stuff?

How old do you think you are?

No thanks, I already have 2 immature brothers. Don't need you 2 to add to my headache.

And all those craps about you understanding us...pui~ Den you should have either saw it coming or at least understand why I back out, don't you?

And I told you 2 days before. You ample time to avoid panicking during the last min. When you said you respect my decision, I was relieved. I should have known. You respect nothing. Especially not me.

This US trip has already turned into a disaster. If you don't wanna travel w/me in the end, its fine. Good thing I have backup plans. Don't think you are the only 'friends' I have.

If you are angry, lemme tell you sth. You shouldn't be. CAUSE I AM F***ING FURIOUS RITE NOW! I SHOULD BE responsible? Now you look me yeah? Why don't you give me all your money then? I will be responsible and spend it all for you. I will try my hardest to spend it all so just give me your money. I promised I will complete this 'difficult' mission.

So much anger in my stomach. It's making me look fatter than usual. And I don't look very slim in the 1st place.

ARGGHHHH....F*** you!

Revealation from Sleeping Patterns

[graphic via BBC.com]

  • Fetus position - A whopping 41% of participants sleep in this curled-up manner. Women are twice as likely to rest like this and it is listed as the most common position. These sleepers are said to have a tough exterior but are still sensitive and may appear to be shy but warm up quickly.
  • Log position - If you sleep on your side with both arms down, you are a social, easy-going person who is trusting, sometimes to the point of being gullible. The study showed 15% of people sleep like a log.
  • Yearner position - A close third is the side-lying position with both arms out in front of the body, with 13% of partipants sleeping like this. Yearners are noted to be open-minded and still cynical, suspicious, and stubborn about sticking to decisions once they are made.
  • Soldier position - These sleepers lie on their backs with arms down and kept close to the body. This 8% study is said to be reserved, quiet, without fuss, and hold themselves and others to a high standard. Soldier sleepers have a higher likelihood for snoring due to the flat-back position, which may not cause them to wake up often but may result in a less restful night's sleep.
  • Freefall position - Those people who lie on their bellies with arms under or wrapped around a pillow with head turned to the side, make up 7% of the population studied. Freefallers are brash, outgoing, and are very uncomfortable with criticism.
  • Starfish position - Sleepers who lie on their backs with arms up near their head or the pillow account for 5% of participants. These people are good listeners, helpful, and are uncomfortable being the center of attention. People who sleep in starfish position are more likely to snore and to suffer from a poor night's sleep more often.
The research reveals most people stay in the same position all night and only 5% lay differently night by night. Also interesting is that the study showed only one in ten people cover their bodies entirely with a blanket, with most people exposing an arm, leg, or both feet.

I finds the above article interesting cause Yahoo News seldom publish this kind of article. Moreover I am a fan of these things *wink*.

1st day of semester. Not really bad.

Less is more - the motto for today. Hate my mouth. And you too brain. Think 3 times before you speak next time.

Wednesday, April 28, 2010

Decided. I'm too lazy. Gonna just wait for the high-res pics from LD then just upload it as a single entry. Let the pictures do the talking. I betcha speaks more than I could ever type in any blog entry.

Sunday, April 25, 2010

Got the all the photos already. Will blog about it maybe tmr. Coffee hangover today. Will I ever listen? Kena coffee hangover so many times already but still wanna drink.

My contact lenses break again! Second time already. At first I suspect its my a bit longer than my usual nails but soon dismissed that thought as the first time it breaks, my nails are super short (freshly bitten. Haha...).

Erm...maybe its the way I handle them. Too rough? But it seldom happens before with my normal blue-tinted contacts. Maybe the colored contacts are thinner than the normal ones. Gotta asked someone seemingly experienced. Like Ivy.

On a side note, still haven't fully recovered from Tioman. Its a fun and friendly place with lots of water fun. Insects trouble are not as bad as I though and I LOVE THE SUPER SOFT BED AND PILLOWS. So easier to sleep in! Just plonk onto the bed and less than one minute later you are in la la land. How awesome is that for a insomniac patient?

Now waiting for Lily to process the photos so I can blog about it in detail. Hope I still remember most of it by then! Stay tuned~

I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!

I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!! Insomnia again! ARGHHHHH~~

Its really gonna hurt putting in contact lenses later.

The Jitters Are Gone (1 Day To Tioman)

As the title states, the jitters are all gone. Replaced by what I supposed is regret ("Why oh why did I sign up for this in the 1st place?) and sian-ness (then I started thinking of how I can get out of this).

I'm so glad that I keep a diary of the pre-travel emotions that I am experiencing. Looking back, its pretty interesting! So many ups and downs. The mood swings really makes me wonder if I am getting a bit crazy. Then again I heard somewhere that everyone is a bit crazy in one way or another. So I guess I'm still doing fine. Right?

Maybe I can do one for post-travel and then let's do a comparison. Too bad I can't do the same for the during-travel. The fees for internet access is not really worth it. And although it usually goes very smoothly once I started hitting the keyboards, it takes a relatively long time for me to really get started.

So worried that something might go wrong tomorrow, the main concern being that whether Lily will appeared late. Think its gonna be another sleepless night, tonight.

Monday, April 19, 2010

Pre Travel Anxiety Syndrome (2 days to Tioman)

Is there such thing as Pre Travel Anxiety Syndrome? I studied Psychology for a short while so you are thinking I should know but I don't. Not at all. The module doesn't go that in depth. Its a Mass Comm course after all.

Did a search regarding it on Google and to my amazement there is REALLY SUCH THINGS!!!

Well not exactly Pre Travel Anxiety Syndrome (PTAS for short. Getting real tired of copying and pasting that long chain of medical terms that does not exist), but travel panic attacks.

The wonder of mankind. Oh, and you too, Mother Nature.

Is that I am feeling right now? Not exactly as I am not gonna change routes or anything and I ain't the least bit scared about accidents happening. I am a firm believer of 'what should come will come eventually' afterall. And I often boast about myself being a sadist for wanting to go where the danger is at. And then come back and bragged about how I am still alive and nothing bad happened to me during the trip. Call me crazy but a nicer way to put it is - 'adventurous'. Oh maybe cause I trusted my instinct for this kinda things. It's been in a coma state so far so I reckoned nothing bad is gonna happen. And so far it has served me well.

What I AM FEELING is mostly a mixture of whether the huge racksack of stuff I packed is enough for the trip as well as an excitement kind of jitters overwhelming me. Anticipation is the word. Can't really wait for the trip to really happen even though its only about two days to the trip. TWO DAYS SEEM SO FUCKING LONG.....

Maybe I should unpack my 'racksack' and repack it again. This time putting whatever that it ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY inside. Nothing more.

Happy Days

Ahhh~ the power of best friends. They always seem to know how to make you happy. Effortlessly.

Lily mentioned something about Korea trip next year. Not sure if thats gonna happen but if it is - Cool!

Her future sista-in-law is coming along too. Might be. That is one bad factor. Not that good with strangers. But gonna try real hard. Love making friends even though that doesn't work for me 100%.

Something about a India wedding too in October this year too. Have to see schedules and stuff. So cool for Lily to ask me along! I wonder if her bf is gg too. Might not be going if that's the case. Don't really talk well around guys. Moreover I behave uncomfortably around couples. You may call it 'lack of experience' or whatever.

Now for the best news of the day. The elder one that I'm tutoring got full marks for her test! Whoa~ This nearly makes me wanna continue tutoring for the rest of my life. But I did said almost. Teaching is not really my thing. I am the heck care sort and its a good thing for me the elder sister is hardworking and really striving for the best. On her own effort. Can't do anything for those that doesn't put in motivation though.

Anyway, once again, congratulations Ira! Keep it up!

And also...I'm good! I'm good! I'm good! *doing that pumping my hands in rounds thingy*

Insom-mania

Its back again.

I guess its quite normal to get insomnia everytime you feel stressed or mentally excited. But...

Two weeks in advance!

Must be REAL EXCITED if you asked me.

The usual stuff doesn't work and I went a bit outta my way to drink cough medicine. Its not drug abuse if you really must know. Its a try to see if it works and one time thingy. Anyway it doesn't work so I didn't drink it again. The taste isn't that fantastic anyway.

So now I'm here blogging, surfing the web and playing games. At the same time. Really got so used to having to multi-task that I felt uneasy if I don't do it. Guess that might contribute to why I get insomnia every so often - my brain still wanna multi-task in sleep mode. Seriously can't you go to REM stage 1st? We can talk about multi-tasking like...10am in the morning!

This is so screwed up. If I continue like this, all I am gonna do at Tioman is to catch up on my REM rebounds.

Hate you brain. You are a lousy brain for not being able to function properly.

Wow...so many things from here I wanna buy! Gotta get a hold of myself...

Jitters!

Its like a bit more than one week to my Tioman trip and I gotta say...I CAN'T WAIT!

Well...partly bcoz I'm like so free at home so I'm like getting real bored and stuff.

Ultimate aim for the trip: Takes lotsa nice nice pictures so that I can make my friends jealous.

Side but very important and die die must do aim: Have at least one of those gigantic, totally not guilt-free, fattening Ramly burgers on paya beach.

Photo taken from my favorite nice haunts w/o her permission. Sorry~

Maybe I should pack my bag already. A week and two days doesn't really seems like really long.

Frankly I don't really know what to expect for the trip except lotsa sandy white beaches and clear blue/green water. Gee~ I wonder if 300RM is enuff for everything...I'm planning snorkeling as well (if my *ahem2 didn't arrive coincidentally). I'm gonna have some fun!

I'm really having insomnia these days. And no..its not bcoz of the 'overwhelming expectations' for the Tioman trip. The 'overwhelming-ness' only starts today, like just now. But the insomnia has been really haunting me for days. Lack of exercise maybe? I really gotta try making myself really tired before I sleep these days. Don't wanna hop onto the Tioman island and 'impress' the tourists and locals with my magnificent panda eyes.

Btw I just changed my desktop wallpaper to reflect my current mood:

Then again..I'm thinking this will be a better one:

News Feed - Summary of the 1st quarter of 2010

Thinking its time to update my cobwebs-covered blog. Here goes:

Well one quarter of 2010 had past and so far I hafta say it aint that bad. Wasn't too fantastic either but hey, beggers can't be choosers.

Received news that JT probably wanna start working. Wonderful news! Considering that he hadn't been working or doing anything productive for abt more than 3 years now.

On a side note, I'm worried abt my PEAF results. I have such a huge amount of plagiarism and and I don't think I did too well for my exam either. It all amounts to - dreadful news.I did put in huge amount of effort for my paper but you never know what their marking criteria is. Pray...PRAY HARD!

Mum had been a hurricane on fire let loose lately. I dunno what's she encountered in her workplace but venting her frustration on us isn't wise. I vowed not to do that myself a number of times but I gotta admit I sometimes let my temper goes wild. Gotta change that.

I'm a tutor now! Can you believed that? Although its for Lily's cousins and the pay is really peanuts considering I have to teach two kids of different levels - one P6 and another S4NT. I'm taking it as a past-time and am gaining experience in the meantime. I don't like it cause I have to talk so much and most of the time I have a feeling that they don't understand me. But if they don't ask - their loss. I'm not going to be responsible for every teeny weeny thing. I'm tired enough.

That's all for the update! Dunno when's the next one's gonna be but hopefully it'll be soon. Stay tuned!

All for...Passport

Still can't believe it!

I've gotten back my own passport!

Now its laying there safety in my drawer! For the past 2 - 3 days!

It's like a dream!

The feeling is wonderful. Having a hold of ur things. Feels like I'm the only one in control.

In actual fact...not really. Still gotta report to my mum if I'm getting outta the country and stuff. But still, its mine now!

Feel like rocking this song!

No. 1 - Mar 04 Self Intro

What a scare yesterday. Can't find the girl - Dayana and lots of drama follows.

My first tuition is DOOMED to be a 'success'.

Heck care la, I put in whatever effort I can. The rest is seriously up to them.

Lily goes ard spreading that I'm top in N'level, now I gotta prove it. Ma fan~

The elder one also come (both 美人, jap) and asked me abt enlargement (under transformation). I anyway how teach and I think its the wrong method. Nvm, this fri I check with her again. If she's coming la. Maybe she lost faith in me? I also dunno.

Its a nice feeling overall. I think I like teaching. Provided they understand.

Opps...discovered.

That's the prob living in here. No privacy at all. Anyhow open my door w/o knocking whatsoever.

No matter what, if US I can't survive, I will try Europe. Anyway except this place.
Exam is over and I hafta say I am ashamed. I did not do too well. Not much of a surprise there considering how much I am considering and that I am still exploring an effective study method.

I figured that for those that comes with diagram, best to study it with diagram la. And...not to act clever, remember too much extra info for what?!!! Its not required lor.

Haiz...and to think I almost pride myself on the clever brain...

Brain! U should be very ashamed!

Next thing on the agenda, I signed a tour package w/o my mum's approval. The tour package will NEVER HAPPEN with her approval which is why I go ahead with the purchase, which is super cheap as hell at $139-$10 (discount per pax at NATAS 5*s). Me and Lily is heading on 21 April. Well something to look forward to but...let's see how it works out. Cause passport is still held as hostage.

That's all for today. Ciao~

Chg of plans. I think I'm not the type with good brain, but will be very useful if I found the correct studying method. And the method is CLEARLY NOT memorizing.

At least not the whole chunk.

So I'm gonna juz rmb keywords here and there. Like short forms or sth.

The rest I'm gonna just read.

Let you know how it work out.

Ciao~
Woah...its been long since I came back here.

I dunno what's wrong with me but the big day is tomorrow and I can remember nothing! No concentration whatsoever. Mind is drifting to Lala land. I figure I might need a vent to let out whatever that's inside me thus this blog entry.

I better get my mood back if not I will really die hard. And I am not talking about the movie nor the video game.

I mean it.

AAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~

If you dare to call me dense you should have known this is coming.

If you do not, then you are denser. And in no position to call me 'stupid'.

You are welcome to call me anything physically-wise, 'ugly' and 'fat' is totally fine.

Calling me 'dense' is the last straw.

Totally insulting my intelligence. Regardless of whether of not in your opinion I have any.

You are too full of yourself and you know it. Don't gimme reasons.

And I had tolerated you many time before this.

Goodbye.

Who's gonna save the fat me from getting fatter? T-T

DAMN~

Was playing with Sim3 just now.

I hired a babysitter, a usual teenager one they provided in Sim3. Then I made my male adult chat up and hang out with the young baby sitter, in hope that sparks will fly and chemical reactions occurred.

Instead, the baby sitter got disgusted and make away with my male adult's baby brother! I tried to followed her to see where she went to but she disappeared halfway. Like a ninja!

She looks kinda Japanese though...so she might REALLY be a ninja....but....

I know you loves children, Ninja babysitter, but give birth to your own! And return me my toddler! I tried so hard to make him the perfect child! And he's going to elementary school the next day! Who am I going to send there now?
p.s. I got the toddler back in the end. Ninja Babysitter gave him back (as a gift i suppose) when the adult male got married to the maid. By that time, the baby is already few days into childhood, and has already attended lessons by himself.

Look @ This...

Wow...even I can't get the answer...and got a headache as a souvenir.

I must be damn stupid...but...

Seriously what is MOE thinking? They are only primary 6 aka 12 years oldies for goodness sake!

I had one cousin who is always worrying about his son's low-flying results. And he's taking PSLE this year.

OMG...good luck to him....

And I can't help but heaved a sigh of relief and put a silly grin on my face. How lucky I am to escape all these shit.

This is the 1st time I'm glad that I'm old...

If you are interested, solution to the question found here
Not gonna do anything productive for like a week? Maybe more...it depends.

Since it's such a long holiday cum break and everything.

Gonna really take the time to breathe.

And probably relax myself.

I'm seriously too tighten up. Gonna unscrew myself with something.

Just realised I am a very vulgar person.

Only knew that when some of them start screaming when they heard the mild ones Singaporeans usually use.

Please~

As if your ears will rot from hearing a bit of vulgarities.

And those are not even vulgarities.

KNN and walao to me is just expressions.

You really dun nid to scream as if you're melting when I say the word.

I didn't hop on the next available bus when you smoked did I?

Such show-offs.

I hate cowards.

And unfortunately, most of the people around me are cowards.

Too hesitant for dunno what shit.

It's not gonna make things better. So why not get it over and done with, you idiots!

Not asking for dare-devils. Some dare-devils are stupid, not courageous. I don't find 'daring' to eat drugs or go for bungee jumping courageous. The same goes for one night stands.

But cowards are the worst sort. As if its possible, they worsen the situation by finding reasons for their lack of courage. Speechless. And they don't listen to anything you say. They are always right.

Pui~

No idea why I'm living around these people. Gotta find someway to get rid of them somehow. Or at least not see them so often.

They make me sick.

Missed my hols.

Nevermind. Gotta have another one too.

1 month plus.

Wonder how I can fill it with....?

Snow White of the Swamps

Seen this before?

It's a white alligator or white crocodile (frankly I could never tell the difference). I saw this just now in a Hong Kong forum and thought that's something I might like to share.

I will try my best to translate from Chinese to English...

Here's how the article goes:

A 22 years old pure white alligator weighing 227kg has recently appeared in Florida, America. According to experts, this species of white alligators are very rare, with only 12 left all over the world.

British media reported that this white alligator is named 'Bouya Blan' meaning 'white mist'. It and three other white alligators presently cohabited in the famous Gatorland in Florida, America.

"Visitors to the zoo felt spooky when they saw this white alligator," said Mark, person in charge of Gatorland. "Its blue eyes make you intimidated."

This alligator was first discovered by scientists at a swamp in
the state of Louisiana, and brought it to the Audupon Zoo in New Orleans. Many rare reptiles were dead as a result of the move to Gatorland.

"Our zoo has the most number of white alligators in the world, " said Demor, person in charge of Audupon Zoo. "White alligators is not the result of
Albinism, contrary to popular belief. They are born white with blue eyes, with colour pigments only in the mouth and tail."
According to experts, this species of white alligator can be grow up to 3 - 3.3 metres long. Due to their entirely white skin, they find it hard to survive in the wild and are thus rare.

The white alligator is very sensitive to direct sunlight, thus are allowed only a minimum amount of sun exposure by the keepers. Demor said tha
t they hope to breed more white alligators in the near future.

Here's the original article:

Unbelievable right?

I didn't believed it as well till I saw this picture.

Crocodile hunter verified the news with his (late but) royal presence!

I mean if Steve is in it, it must be true. After all he's the 'crocodile hunter' right? And I actually got this picture from a different source. Unless they are so bo-liao to create so many different sources just to justify their 'lies', it must be true.

Looking at the alligator photo again, it looks so weird...yet so cute! It looks like something outta a cartoon or something!

Kawaii~

And how I wish I have deep blue eyes instead. All I got is brown/black eyes, which is fine if not for the fact that one is so much smaller than the other!

Haiz....

P.S. I did my best with the names. I verified the names of the states and places, but I am helpless with the names. That's why there's weird names like 'Demor' appearing...T-T
